        • CONTACT: Our default way of contacting you is via WhatsApp, but if you don’t use it, no problem — we will send you an email instead.

        • TEMPERATUR: The temperature inside the mine is around 17°C, but please be aware there can be drafts near the shafts, so it might feel colder.

        • DISTANCE: You’ll walk about 3.5 km, including around 800 stairs going down. Luckily, they are spread out between different levels, not all at once. Please wear comfortable shoes 👟

        • LUGGAGE: We don’t recommend bringing large luggage. A small backpack(max. 20x20x35 cm) is okay.
If you do bring something bigger, you can leave it in the car —just please inform the driver.

        • PHOTOS: Photos are allowed during the tour and are free of charge —so feel free to take some great shots!

DISABLE PEOPLE: This tour is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties or those using wheelchairs. There are 800 steps to go down, which cannot be avoided. For visitors with mobility issues, the museum offers a dedicated tour for people with disabilities.

        • LUNCH: This is a short tour of just under 5 hours, so there is no planned lunch break. During the visit, there will only be a short restroom break, and there will be a snack bar available.

        • CHILDREN: Due to the large number of stairs, we recommend bringing a baby carrier, as using a stroller may be difficult.
        What to bring
          • CLOTHING: We kindly ask you to wear comfortable shoes, as there will be a lot of walking, and to dress appropriately for the temperature underground.
